Funny Or Offensive?

Recently this video was posted on Global Grind but was later taken down due to phone calls made by the NAACP to the site's owner, Russell Simmons.  However, in my opinion I don't think the video was offensive it was mean't to be funny.  I'm pretty sure that everyone knows the legacy and impact Harriet Tubman on Black History and nobody would intentionally defame her name.  Too many people are politically nowadays....and for the NAACP to say anything..and they haven't made a significant.... never mind.... check out the video below

For a while HipHop took a hiatus...and it was becoming watered down and saturated with a whole bunch of lollipop and gumdrop rappers. However this year, particularly the summer ,we have seen many artists put out some of their best work. Still the competition aspect was missing.  In my opinion, HipHop was becoming a private school, only a select few of the elite were allowed to participate....however with this verse Kendrick he just put a hit out on every rapper and made it an inner city public school once again. lol..... Let the Games Begin.

Up-and-coming female rap artist yesLIVcan or more commonly known as LIV, sat down for an interview with StreetLeagueMovement.com and aired out some dirty laundry on a few well known rappers. She explained why she recorded a diss record aimed at Nicki Minaj, and claims that Nicki slept with artists in order to gain her fame. More specifically, LIV claims that Nicki slept with Lil Wayne. She went on to allege that Wayne also tried to sleep with her however she refused to give up sex for success.

Even more shocking, are her claims that Jay Z allegedly attempted to hit on her while being married to Beyonce.

Chris Brown's Seizure....What Happened?

Unless you've been living under a rock for the past few years, you know that Chris Brown has been in the limelight for more things than just his music.  Today was no different.  Paramedics were called to the studio where Chris Brown was recording to answer a call claiming he had a seizure.  According to TMZ he refused treatment and did not want to be admitted to a hospital.

My personal opinion:

These past couple of months have been really rough on Chris legally and personally.  He even suggested via twitter that he wanted to retire....All the stress built in him was probably the cause.

Kevin Hart was sentenced to 3 years probation after a DUI charge that was on April 14....after failing a sobriety test he was booked and later released on bond. He will have to complete an alcohol education class as part of his punishment.

If you didn't already know Chris Brown earlier today turned himself in for a hit-and-run charge in Los Angeles.  However that wasn't nearly half the drama.  You see on twitter he also revealed that his up and coming album "X" would be his last.  The tweets sound pretty sad and depressing...I feel bad.
