Dope Artist Alert!!!

OG !LLA (formerly known as So !LLA) is a man of ambition. Born and raised in Richmond, VA he is a staple for Hip Hop in RVA and a great example of the independent grind. He is the founder of Broad Street Elite/HLGNLIFE and is currently working on building on his career as an artist. Often praised for his higher standards the Broad Street Elite movement has become a common name in the RVA music scene creating a small musical cult of loyal followers. 

Growing up in foster care gave him great perspective on life. Uses his music as his voice to speak for those who feel they are just a number. After losing a soccer scholarship at VCU ILLA found this voice and dedicated himself to creating music full time, even leaving college to due so. After teaming up with Kingdom ILLA shared stages with many hip hop artist such as: Riff Raff, Lil B, Ace Hood, Action Bronson, Hopsin, Dizzy Wright, Los, Vinny Cash, Kid Daytona, Jarren Benton, Phil Ade, Cory Gunz and numerous other independent artist. 

ILLA finds inspiration in life for his music and often refers to himself as a reality rapper. OG ILLA strives to continue to impress with music and build with Broad Street Elite. Hard work, dedication, and grind. 

OG ILLA's latest release "Slippin Away" is a stunning short film that really visualizes the song. You can feel the hunger and the pain in the video as he seeks to regain himself. The song is raw but heartfelt as ILLA does his best to remain strong even in his weakest moments. This is the definition of Art, Music, and pushing the barriers of Hip Hop. 

The video stars actor/model David Sorrenson and the video shot by Soul Live Media is the latest release from ILLA's upcoming debut original album, Marijuana Made. ILLA adds to a list of strong videos he has released over the last few years.

Now I always respected Wendy Williams because she speaks the truth!!!! So when the Aaliyah movie aired and the reception was HORRIBLE...I thought she would own up to it....but I was WRONG...she basically said it was the 2nd highest rated movie on cable this year..WELL DUH!!!! Everyone was curious to see the movie....but forget RATINGS what about the REVIEWS WENDY THE REVIEWS!!!! anyways you can make your own judgement she talks about the movie in the video above at 2:30 smhhh!!!

#MessyMondays Vince cheating On Tamar!?!?!?!

Now I'm not the one for gossip but....allegedly Vince has been cheating on Tamar!!! Bossip reports that he has been cheating on her with Basketball Wives star Gloria Govan (pic below)...now if it isn't already messy enough Gloria just broke up with her HUSBAND LA Clippers small forward Matt Barnes! Apparently Vince was just supposed to be help Gloria with furthering her career...when things became more than just about business and got a little sticky. Neither parties have confirmed or denied the allegations but we here at Scotty B's World...hope that it is false!

The video posted above shows a black girl going crazy over some comments that were made in her class about slavery...from the looks of it she should've been born in the 50's so she could've been a black panther in the 70's with all that rage she had!

Aaliyah Movie Review!!!

Now unlike the rest of Black Twitter I did not watch the Aaliyah movie 1 because I didn’t really feel like it and 2 because I have no cable -_- Lol.  Anyways I already knew this movie was going to be a disaster because of the CASTING!!! None of the cast look liked the people they played!!! 

I think comedienne Finesse Mitchell summed it up best!

I think the fact that they could not use Aaliyah's music/voice was also a big mistake Aaliyah's music was such an integral part of who she was.
