Carrie Rodriguez Interview

My interview with Carrie Rodriguez was genuinely fun, it felt like we were friends picking up were we last left off.  Before I go any further let me say everyone needs to come out to her show in CHARLOTTE, NC tonight, at The Evening Muse!!! Now lets continue….she got her start by listening to older kids play the violin while she was supposed to be sleeping at nap time and ever since then she’s been on the go.  Seeing that her last name was Rodriguez I had to ask her if she has any Latino heritage, turns out she is Mexican y ella habla español!  Now I know what a lot of you might think she’s a country singer so she’s singing about beers, God, and monster trucks. However listening to her music is quite refreshing and it’s not the run of the mill country music.  Also the fact she plays an instrument (the fiddle) and sings really makes for a good musical experience in person.  Look for this woman in the future she has a lot of things in store…and I mean BIG THINGS!!
