Musical Spotlight of The Day: Fat Trel

Fat Trel is a 22-year-old rap artist from the DMV.  After being snubbed for the Freshmen 2013 XXL issue, he continues to grind and work hard.  If the name does not sound familiar you should get use to hearing it.  He has been working with Master P and No Limit Records, and when asked about what has he learned thus far from the multimillionaire hip-hop icon he simply replied “there are many different routes to doing this rap thing”….#NewRules…#ItsLevelsToThisSh*t.  With his first love actually being football he grew up listening to his father rapping and doing random freestyles and attributes some of his musical influences to the Getoboyz, Big Tymerz, HotBoyz, and GOGO music. However some new artists he listens to are: Chief Keef, Schoolboy Q, Fredo, Young Moe, and Kali B.   Perfecting his craft he likes to take his time recording his music and has different methods of approaching songs.   He predicts in five years he will at least have five million in the bank.  Fat Trel is building the foundation to a great career; he already has his eyes set on different ventures that could potentially take him to the top.  With the DMV behind and embracing him only time will tell.  Check out his music above and don’t forget to follow him @FATTREL
